The aim of this module is to help pharmacy technicians update their knowledge of sore throats – one of the conditions included as part of the Pharmacy First service. 

Learning objectives

After completing this module and its online counterpart, pharmacy technicians will be able to:     

  • Be aware of the range of OTC medicines available for sore throat
  • Know the first-line treatment to recommend
  • Be able to provide self care advice.
